Freeport
Majority owned by Chiltern Vital Group SPVs, YEP forms an integral part of the recently announced Humber Freeport.  With the benefit of a confirmed 50 MW grid connection and a similar PV farm generated capacity, YEP is attracting major energy intensive users, including battery storage, green hydrogen production and supply chain enterprises associated with these new technologies and will host a full MagicBox facility. Negotiations are also well advanced with CATCH, a leading Humber industry led partnership and the University of Lincoln, to create a new FE/HE teaching and R&D campus on the north bank of the Humber.
